Join us for worship on Sunday! Here's what's happening...
We'll conclude our sermon series on the book of Genesis this week. We've called this series "Roots of Our Redemption," because even way back in the first book of the Bible, we see God's love and mercy at work despite the rebelliousness of his children. Nowhere is this more evident than in his relationship with Abraham. Although he was a man of great faith, Abraham nonetheless had moments when he failed miserably-- taking matters into his own hands when he doubted God's promises, often making a mess of things along the way. Yet God continues to keep his promises to Abraham and Sarah, showing that he loves us despite our sin and stubbornness.
Pastor Josh will preach the word to us this week, focusing on Genesis 25-- the death of Abraham. Pray for Pastor Josh as he prepares the message for us.
Scripture text: Genesis 25:1-18
We'll also sing lots of worship songs together, have several times of corporate prayer, hear Scripture read aloud, and have some time to get to know each other over coffee and snacks.
We'll also celebrate the Lord's Supper together-- a very special time when we partake of the elements (bread and juice) and remember Christ's sacrifice on our behalf.
Hope to see you Sunday!
