We desire to help our children and teens along the way on their journey of understanding what it means to live a life of faith in Jesus Christ. Our hope is that they are well prepared to face the challenges of living as a follower of Jesus Christ in today’s world. Sunday Worship (10am)

On Sundays, we have a nursery and Children’s Discipleship Hour available for young children (ages 0-8), in which we use The Biggest Story Curriculum, a Christ-centered, chronological Bible curriculum. For older children, we provide a "Junior Bulletin" that connects with the theme of the worship service and includes questions for parents to discuss with their children after the service. For the safety of our children, all nursery caregivers are required to undergo thorough national and state background checks annually.

Friday Family Playgroup (10am)

Ruggles also hosts a free weekly playgroup every Friday morning from 10am-11:30am during the school year (September 26, 2025-April 24, 2026), as a way to serve families in our community, no strings attached! We provide fun toys, activities, circle time, and a lot of space for the kids to run around and play. If you would like more information, please email whitney@rugglesbaptistchurch.org, and please invite your friends to join you!

COVID-19 Agreement

We will follow CDC, state, and local city regulations and suggestions as far as COVID-19 prevention and safety goes. If guidance from the above authorities changes, we may ask that all persons (regardless of vaccination status), including toddlers 2 and older, wear masks inside the church building in accordance with our church policy. Liability Release Agreement

Participation Agreement I (we) represent to Ruggles Baptist Church that I (we) am (are) the legal parent(s) or legal guardian(s) of the child(ren) listed on this form and I (we) consent to his/her/their attendance and participation in Friday Family Playgroup and all activities therein at Ruggles Baptist Church from September 20, 2024, through April 25, 2025, sponsored by Ruggles Baptist Church. I (we) understand that in the event that medical intervention is needed, every attempt will be made to immediately contact the person(s) listed in this form and the emergency contact given upon registration. In the event I/we/they cannot be reached in an emergency during the activities shown on this form, I (we) hereby give my permission to the physician(s) or dentist selected by the activity sponsors to hospitalize, to secure x-ray examinations, to secure medical treatment and/or to order an injection, anesthesia, or surgery for my child as deemed necessary. I (we) understand that my (our) insurance coverage for my (our) child will be used as primary coverage in the event medical intervention is needed. Should it be necessary for the participant to return home due to medical reasons, disciplinary action, or otherwise, I (we) assume responsibility for their transportation and/or all transportation costs. I (we) acknowledge that participation in the activity described above involves risk to the participant (and to the participant’s parents or guardians, as the participant is a minor), and may result in various types of injury including, but not limited to, the following: sickness, bodily injury, death, emotional injury, personal injury, property damage, and financial damage. Further, the participant's parent(s)/guardian(s) releases and promises to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the activity sponsors for any injury arising directly or indirectly out of the described activity or transportation to and from the activity, whether such injury arises out of the negligence of the activity sponsors, the participant, or otherwise. The undersigned parent(s) or guardian(s) represent that he/she/they has read this Release, has requested and has been provided with, or has requested and declined advisement on the potential dangers/risks of engaging in the observation, activities, or instruction offered, assumes all risks associated with such dangers and risks, and is fully aware of and understands the terms and the legal consequences of the signing of this Release. Fenway Kids Adventure Week 2026 (July 13-17, 8:30am-12pm)

Ruggles Baptist Church and our co-sponsor, Chinese Bible Church of Greater Boston (City Light), invite children ages 3.5 years to rising 6th graders to join our Fenway Kids Adventure Week from Monday, July 13th to Friday, July 17th (8:30am-12:00pm daily) at Ruggles Baptist Church (874 Beacon Street, Boston, MA).

There is no cost for registration, but the registration deadline is June 30, 2026. We hope that your child(ren) will join us!

Registration will open on January 1, 2026, so please mark it on your calendar now!
